The Corporate American Press Attacks the Whistleblowers

This is what we should be seeing over and over again in the media.

Instead the corporate journalists are attacking the whistle blowers...they are acting more like CIA/Gestapo agents then journalists...not surprising since the CIA has long been known to have "psy ops" agents that are embeded journalists. The surprising reality is that there appear to be so many CIA/corporate journalists...where are the independent journalist that inform the public?

Former Italian President and the man who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio, Francesco Cossiga, has gone public on 9/11, telling Italy's most respected newspaper that the attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad and that this was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies.

Cossiga was elected President of the Italian Senate in July 1983 before winning a landslide 1985 election to become President of the country in 1985.

Cossiga gained respect from opposition parties as one of a rare breed - an honest politician - and led the country for seven years until April 1992.Cossiga's tendency to be outspoken upset the Italian political establishment and he was forced to resign after revealing the existence of, and his part in setting up, Operation Gladio - a rogue intelligence network under NATO auspices that carried out bombings across Europe in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Cossiga is a man with deep ties to intelligence communities who are privy to knowledge and information the general public doesn't get to see. Now the truth is being allowed to surface, slowly but deliberately perhaps. Cossiga likely would not have come forward if he did not have some kind of support from these communities.

Now, what is Operation Gladio? In a nutshell, it was a European-wide, criminal enterprise that recruited from the Right, up to and including ex-Nazis, serving Western powers against both the Soviet Union and Leftist political organizations in general. It specialized in False Flag Ops, violent acts that enraged the public and were engineered in such a way that they could be blamed on an intended victim, such as a political party or radical group.

I'm going to let the BBC introduce the subject with the following videos. You are about to enter a covert, dangerous world that most of you had no idea existed, yet which has been influencing our lives for decades, a world of Right-Wing and State-sponsored terror, assassinations and, as I mentioned, False Flag Ops designed to manipulate public opinion and eliminate enemies. Here We Go Again...So Much for the Imaginary War on Drugs

In America, the "connected" make a fortune importing drugs into our country while the "average" American consumers of these drugs end serving large prison sentences instead of participationg in drug rehabilitation programs (if their health condition merits this.)

In the meantime, the taxpayer gets bilked for this imaginary war on drugs (especially when it comes to prison costs) and now Blackwater wants to get even more of our taxpayer dollars by becoming fighters in our imaginary drug war.

When is enough enough?

We need to put the big villains in prison or at least drive them out of business. The war on drugs needs a serious assessment by the taxpayer who is getting bilked. Many Americans end up behind bars for nonviolent crimes. Let's demand that a task force be set up to study all the options. They may even come to the conclusion that our imaginary drug wars provides a huge funding supply of money for terrorists. Maybe, just maybe, we should at least sell marijuana at ABC stores, where it won't be sold to minors, and the profits could be used to finance government programs, such as drug rehab that is needed in our country.

Attorney General blocking Investigations

Michael Mukasey is just another Alberto Gonzalez, Mukasey behaves like he's the ANTI-Justice Attorney General. Another typical "protect me and my cronies" Bush selection that the Democratic majority Senate went along with. Shame on the Dems for this. No Attorney General would be an improvement over this.

Attorney General Michael Mukasey is coming under intense criticism by Democrats for his handling of the scandal surrounding the CIA’s destruction of hundreds of hours of videotape showing interrogations inside secret CIA prisons. Within a single 24-hour period, the Justice Department warned a federal judge to back-off of his inquiry into the destruction of the tapes, told Congress to delay its own investigation into the matter, and refused to cooperate with congressional inquiries into the Justice Department’s role in the elimination of the tapes. The American Civil Liberties Union called the Justice Department’s actions a stunning rebuke of the constitutional system of checks and balances. (Headlines 12/17/07)

Did the CIA Impede the investigation of 911?

Our corporate media norm seems to be "YEARS" behind reporting the Big News...then when they report it we are told it's old news, it's irrelevant, etc.etc....Imagine how angry the country would have been if this had been reported in a timely manner. Makes me wonder who "sat' on this story at at who's request.....

VA "lefty" blogs under surveillance

Mosquito is usually on top of things and was aware when military intelligence was visiting on a regular basis, as well as various other governmental departments. M knows Corporations keep an intense check on blogs and mail list. They've even been known to "threaten" lawsuits if someone writes negatively about them and/or their products. With the recent medical experimentation article the Sentara operation has given us a number of hits. My personal fave are hits from folks like the latimes.com (That's one paper I enjoy reading.)

Mosquito told me about this regular visitor from Yorktown who would spend hours at a time on the blog. I checked and six visits already today from 1:58 am until 8:44 a.m. for over 3 1/2 hours on this blog. I was amused that M hadn't already figured it out. But the CIA has a facility located in the Yorktown area and the blog "fan" is most likely "not" a fan. It sounds like one or more employees working a shift monitoring blogs. The outclicks usually go to "interesting" places like site meter and various beta blog pages that should not be assessable to the average net surfer. However, there was one "outclick" to Black Nell's blog.

I bet there are other lefty blogs in VA with regular visits from Yorktown for multiple page views on the same day....sharing the same "ISP." So check your blogging records folks. Let's see if the CIA, military intelligence, and/or DHS are wasting their time "monitoring" Bush's political opposition instead of those "actual" terrorists who plan violent actions. That's where they should be spending there time isn't it?

But then in Bush World they have a reputation for incompetency and wasting time and money?

I know that Mosquito blogged about various government visitors months ago (and recently another progressive VA blogger wrote about the CIA visiting them. (yes...sometimes it actually says CIA. Mosquito reports one known prior visit that was identified as CIA)

Unfortunately we've entered dark times in our country where the people who should be "under surveillance" aren't and the patriots trying to shed light on all the illegal stuff going on are the ones under surveillance.

So don't be intimidated and let's keep working to get our democracy back on track.

We Need a Congress that Represents our Values...

So Speak up and Speak up now.

Let your Senators know that Torture, in whatever form in UN-American....If your Senator decides to support Torture...then that Senator no longer deserves your support....
