Unhook from the Matrix

Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land is an excellent video on the Middle East. It provides sound background information on the current conflict and features great analysis of how the US mainstream media reports on the Middle East.

It's one hour and 19 minutes of time well spent.

If you believe that Israel and the US are the "good guys" in the middle east and that the Palestinians are the "bad guys," then I triple dare you to watch this documentary.

HR...I wouldn't want you to watch the film any other way....we should all do that as much as possible whatever we are watching.

I look forward to dialoguing with you soon.

I am trying to "unhook" from the matrix as much as possible and am currently able to be able to still meet the mortgage payments without working for a corporation in the "system." So my schedule is my own these days. I prefer to sleep nights and be active in the daytimes....but if I do wake up and am "wide awake" I'll go with it....and then schedule in a daytime nap...

Lately, I have been getting up early 4 am, 5 am....:) :)

leave it to a liberal to call the US "bad guys"

Insider,

Once again you "distort"and totally ignore the "issues" part of the discussion....I'll gladly discuss issues with someone who is up for a discussion (such as hr conservative). However, I refuse to play games on serious stuff. Our country needs more serious discussion and game players (who avoid issues and distract others) are obstacles in a discussion process. I see nothing positive in your word games approach so I decline to play with you.

I'm not playing games. I'm completely serious about how quick liberals are to boo the USA.

It's not "booing" the US....to support wrongdoing by certain government officials is NOT patriotic, imo insider.

Any good parent disciplines a child when they do something they shouldn't do. By the same logic, a good patriot attempts to get their country to make a correction when they are doing something erroneous.

I aggree with Teddy Roosevelt on this matter:

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but it is morally treasonable to the American public.”

If you want to support an anti-Israel video, be my guest.

First--I don't hate Jews and I don't hate my country the US.

But I don't distort or avoid the facts that often create terrorists and make both Israeli and US citizens less safe.

We need to see what is creating the problem so we can learn to live peacefully with others in the world.

I'm looking for solutions that will make everyone safer.

Obviously you didn't view the video. Did you notice the Israeli's that were featured?

It really is a great analysis of how the news is shaped in this country so that it beomes propaganda and not investigative journalism.

It also shows how anyone who raises the curtain from the wizard of oz gets attacked and labeled as anti-Israel and/or anti-US....so go ahead Insider..."be my guest" and play watchdog for the propaganda machine.
