The author of "The Most Important Fish in the Sea" speaks with film clips and a visual presentation.
Bruce Franklin is an English professor at Rutgers University and an author of 18 books. He's a former SAC navigator, tugboat mate, and avid fisherman. MANUFACTURED LANDSCAPE Internationally acclaimed for his large-scale photographs of "manufactured landscapes"-quarries, recycling yards, factories, mines and dams-Edward Burtynsky creates stunningly beautiful art from civilization's materials and debris. Director Jennifer Baichwal follows Burtynsky through China, as he shoots the evidence and effects of that country's massive industrial revolution.
