U.N. Official calls for UN investigation of 9/11

A United Nations (UN) official is calling for an official UN commission to study te U.S. government's involvement in the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. The UN official requesting the study is none other than Richard Falk, Milbank professor of international law emeritus at Princeton University. It appears that government officials in Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada, and Belgium are also noted to have questions regarding U.S. government involvement in 9/11.

It is long past time for us to have answers to important questions concerning 9/11. Hopefully the UN will appoint a commission who will independently study the issue.

Let me save them millions of dollars in graft....

The same Administration, supposedly run by idiots, masterminded a plot to kill thousands of Americans, kept it secret, even though nothing is ever kept secret in DC, fooled millions, except just certain left wingers, and now the UN, a body known for its incorruptibility and impartiality, is going to investigate 9/11, hopefully with the same skill as the Oil for Food Scam and search for WMD.....

Or the truth is that it never happened. The towers came down from internal demolition charges. The same ones ignored by thousands of office workers that day. Jet fuel doesn't burn hot enough. We've heard other authorities on TV: "It was the first time in history that fire melted steel." Or something like that. And the Pentagon was a truck bomb.

Don't forget, the moon landings were a hoax too.

Nothing ever kept secret? Millions of documents are now officially declared secret and top secret since Bush took over. Why has the White House destroyed or "lost" millions of emails and correspondences. Why did Bush and Cheney try to stop even the first 9/11 investigation? Why did they hamstring the first investigation every step of the way? Why did they have to hold each other's hands to testify jointly before this commission and refuse to go under oath? Questions ad infinitum.

If it was John Gotti acting like this and not George Bush, wouldn't you be tempted to say, "I bet he's trying to hide something."??

The boys in the White House are not stupid in terms of politics, but actually extremely cunning, resourceful and ruthless. They really thiink they are Kings of the World and try to act that way, although that is their biggest folly: hubris, which only angers the gods and tempts Fate.

We are all suffering for it and it will probably get worst.

The UN, however, is indeed a flawed instrument, so putting together a truly impartial, uncorrupted, independent commission would be difficult, although not impossible.

Perhaps we should withdraw from all association with the UN so as to not tarnish their good name.

In related news, Virginia Democrats request an investigation in the conduct of Levar Stoney.

Or not.
