Civil Disobedience--Debtor's Revolt Against Greedy Banks

Hopefully NO ONE will pay such usurious rates. Fifteen percent is too high....thirty percent is horrendous.

I don't disagree with her assessment of Bank of America, but she'd have a little more moral authority if she continued to pay the principle. Absent that, her act is self-profiting, not merely civil disobedience.

She IS TRYING to pay the principal plus a "respectable" interest rate James. But if she pays anything now it is under the shark loan rates...that's her whole point. She's not REFUSING to pay back her loan shes REFUSING to adhere to the loan shark interest rate.

I was just thinking of you and I got a vision of Lindsay Graham having to stop himself from applauding President Obama during his speech to Congress.

I agree that the rates are ridiculous.

But tax rates are higher. Let's reduce those also.

FLat tax. Everyone pays. No deductions. 10%. Every voter is then part of the system and is not getting a free ride.
