Ground Zero Mosque brings out the worst in US

KO starts by saying he has no intention of comparing the perpetrators of the holocaust to those who oppose the construction of this 15 story monument to Islam, then he does exactly that. There are a lot of rational reasons to oppose this "minor community center"(?). Olbermann rivals Beck in obfuscation and exaggeration. He selects the most ludicrous arguments of his opponents and implies these are the beliefs of any who disagree with him. By doing so he insures there will be no true dialog and little chance at common ground.

...and even posting something about the ground zero mosque also brings out the worst.

Religious Freedom as a value appears to NOT be relevant to right wing Americans.

Buzz...Buzz...

You make the same mistake KO does. The mentally deranged represent no one but themselves. I'm not sure why you don't just delete it and spare the world from this sewage, unless it suits your purposes.

Paul H....you don't have the same freedom of religion philosophy as our founding fathers. Believe it or not we get it.

On top of it you have to be rude?

Civil discussion is not your strong suit. I suggest that you might want to work on this.

I agree, civil discussion is important. So is civil disagreement. Online it is very easy to be misunderstood or overstate. I am glad you "get it".

As far as the founding fathers are concerned, Glenn Beck is the one who believes they were divinely inspired, not me. I believe in Freedom of Religion. I don't hate Muslims. I just don't believe this is the right place to to put this building. That doesn't make me a bigot
