Republican Federal Prosecutor Arrested in Child Sex Sting.

Republican John David R. Atchison, a 53 year old assistant U.S. attorney from Florida was arrested in Detroit for soliciting for sex with a five-year-old girl. Atchison has been charged with enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.

An undercover detective, acting as the child's mother, allegedly made arrangements for the sexual encounter between Atchison and her 5-year-old daughter. When the undercover detective worried about physical injury to her daughter Atchison allegedly stated, "I am always gentle and loving; not to worry, no damage ever, no rough stuff ever. I only like it soft and nice....Just gotta go slow and very easy. I've done it plenty."

Atchison is a registered Republican, lives in Gulf Breeze, FLA. and is president of a youth athletics organization. (News Source)
