Right Wing Hate Speech

Virginia Virtucon has a post about Bill Maher's comment. Bill Maher maybe the exception that proves the rule--hate speech is not characteristic nor typical of progressives or liberals.

Sorry but one lone example from the left doesn't begin to compare with the hate speech that "splews" from the right wing. Firedoglake has an interesting post up with numerous examples of hate speech from the right wing.

what a great analysis nodemocrat! Where did you earn your Phd in history? There are only a few actual facts standing in the way of earning an A+. For example, your comments about FDR. It wasn't FDR who was afraid to declare war on Germany - it was the non-interventionists in Congress. Beginning in 1935, lawmakers in Congress passed a series of Neutrality Acts making it difficult to take sides in the war that was coming in Europe. During 1941, the U.S., however, funneled billions of dollars worth of arms to Britain and CHina (China was fighting the Japanese). FDR also froze Japanese assets in the U.S.
Until Pearl Harbor, public opinion in the U.S. was 2-1 against entering the war. Nevertheless, German submarines were already attacking U.S. merchant ship in the Atlantic that were headed for Britian. In retrospect, it is easy to say that FDR should have done more, but in those days a president did not take a nation to war without Congressional approval (i.e. the Constitution). No matter what FDR did or did not do, he did not have the votes in Congress to do more than he did. So, since you left these facts out of your historical analysis, I'll have to give you a C-.
