Congress is FINALLY holding some hearings; "allegations" against the Bush regime are being proven true.

Congressional investigations CONFIRM that the torture utilized by our military is NOT (as Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld told us) just a few rogue soldiers (who are currently in the brig serving serious time) . Those soldiers in the brig were simply carrying out orders from policy developed by top military leaders INCLUDING RUMSFELD (and probably Bush and Cheney too).....

So will our rule of law be enforced and these "bigwigs" brought to trial? Will Justice be returned to America? Stay tuned.....this Congress is liable to do anything.

Most recent evidence that this Democratic Congress is pandering to corporate interest instead of restoring the rule of law. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are at it again....betraying their oath of office and NOT defending our constitution and the inherent checks and balances built into our governmental system. Instead, they are pulling the rug out from under our courts, and allowing Bush to have his way....The telecommunications industry is on course to get it's congress approved immunity. American citizens will be wrongfully denied our day in court.

So what will it take to get the military generals AND the telecommunications corporations into a court of law where they belong? Will the democratic party choose new congressional leaders who will uphold their oaths of office and restore the rule of law to our land?

Congressional Cover Up

Sen Harry Reid and Sen John Rockefeller are the Dems leading the charge for the Bush Cheney cabal to grant retroactive immunity to cover-up the numerous examples of illegal wireless surveillance that will be exposed if the lawsuits are continued in court.

Unfortunately, Sen Jim Webb blinked and backed down...passing this ball of wax to Rep John Conyers, Rep Silvestre Reyes and Sen Patrick Leahy to do what they can to prevent this Senate version from being approved by the House. The utterly contemptible Sen John Rockefeller an alleged Democrat from West VA has joined forces with the Bush/Cheney faction to continue to get this legislation rammed through Congress. How much is Sen John Rockefeller operating due to receiving LOTS of telecommunications money and how much is this Sen Rockefeller protecting himself from future liability? Has to make one wonder if Sen John Rockefeller and/or Sen Harry Reid were in on the illegal wireless surveillance program long before other congressional Dems even knew it was occurring?

Hopefully the lawsuits will result in valuable information coming out into the public forum.

NET NEUTRALITY ALERT....ACTION NEEDED NOW

FCC TRYING A DECEMBER SURPRISE

According to The Nation, FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has bent the rules to force FCC commissioner Robert McDowell to "un-recuse" himself and vote on the telecommunications merger issue.

The FCC Chairman appears to have an unreported, unacknowledged conflict of interest himself. Allegedly, FCC Chair Kevin Martin has plans to run for Governor of NC and he is hoping to be able to have the favor returned with lots of telecommunications money for his campaign coffers. Therefore, he is trying to rush the telecommunications merger of AT&T and Bell South throught the FCC with NO NET NEUTRALITY GUARANTEES. Martin knows that the new Congress will not go along with such a maneuver.

Martin is IGNORING the voices of the overwhelming majority of the American people who continually contact the FCC making their voices heard to preserve Net Neutrality. The difficulty is that Martin only appears to "hear" the voices of the special lobbyists with money.

Contact the FCC toll free at 1-866-418-0232 to voice your concerns and ask how to file an official complaint to stop this merger from occurring in December with no Net Neutrality guarantee.. . You might ask who you call to report a the FCC Chair's possible conflict of interest in this matter.

Martin is undermining the public interests he is supposed to be protecting.

It's also a good idea to contact the new Democratic leaders of Congress and members of the Senate Commerce Committee and ask them to intervene to prevent the FCC from selling us out on Net Neutrality to the telecommunications industry. The subcommittee members phone numbers are here.

ACt now and SAVE NET NEUTRALITY.
