I strongly recommend that you watch this important report on Impeachment and the reasons why it is a vital safeguard for American Democracy.

I saw it and thought it was great. Until recently, I thought the Democratic Party leadership was right to stay away from impeachment, but after the Scooter Libby commutation I changed my mind. And the comments by John Nichols and Bruce Fein on this program have made me more sure that this needs to be a top priority for the country.

Thanks for commenting Clifford...We get a lot of traffic but few comments these days. I figure alot of that has to do with the fact that we are "independents" and refuse to follow a party line......such as "impeachment is off the table....."

Hopefully we will have enough folks with the prinicple and guts to stand up and take their oaths to defend the constitution seriously.

But since corporate media is going to contninue to distract the public....it's going to be up to principled bloggers to try to wake folks up and alert them to any sources and facts we come across.....
