It was a good day in Virginia Beach on Friday, July 18, when local activists confronted Karl Rove at a Thelma Drake fundraiser, attracting considerable media attention. Here are two activist videos of the event:

Bush's Dream Team Works To Make US Occupation Permanent

Bush has General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker making plans to negotiate a pact with Iraq (that will NOT go to Congress for approval) that will LOCK the US into Iraq for the next two Presidential terms and set a foundation for a permanent US presence in Iraq.

Will someone explain to me why Pelosi took Impeachment off the table. It would be better to lock Cheney and Bush up with defending themselves than allowing them to continue to create havoc with our country's future.

Bush and Cheney plan to KEEP us in Iraq so taxpayers can continue to foot the bill so their oil companies can swoop in and reap the profits AND they want to start another war with Iran.

When is Congress going to say enough is enough. Congressman Wexlar AND Congressman Dennis Kucinich are both calling for impeachment. Americans need to rise up and demand that their representatives support impeachment proceedings now....before it's too late.

Here at Mosquito Blog, reality just keeps intruding on mythology, including the myth that George Walker Bush, the big honcho, is a kind and humane individual of superior moral and ethical character, blessed by the Lord to boot, to hear certain Evangelicals fantasize about it.

Meanwhile, the darker truth is that Mr. Bush is more akin to a modern day version of Johnny Friendly from the movie ON THE WATERFRONT. You remember Johnny don't you, the Mobster controlling the Longshoreman's Union and all the longshoremen on the docks, the superficial "great guy" who is forever doling out favors and largesse to his syncophants and musclemen while blackballing, beating up or killing anyone who stands for the truth.

So let's fantasize a bit on our own here. Let's cast Pink in the role of Edie Doyle, soft yet fiercely truthful and honest, and whose brother has recently been pushed off a roof by Friendly's men, actually calling out Johhny Friendly, played by George W. Bush, to take a sober walk with her into the pain and suffering he has caused in the world. Will he take that walk into honest self-appraisal?

Don't hold your breath. Even in the movie Friendly can't help being an ass even after being indicted and thrown in the bay by a longshoreman after the big slugout with Terry Malloy (Brando). His Karma and character are cast in bronze. The best we can hope for is that some on-the-up-and-up authorities take him for a walk to the Prison Stripe side of life, before he can do more harm.

Bush Cheney Lies---

Bush and Cheney continue to lie for what they want.....this time they want to take their shock and awe invasion show to Iran. Any excuse will do for those two to want to invade. Funny thing....they have both known for over one year that Iran had no nuclear weapons program but they lied about that too.

Why haven't these two lunatics been tried for treason or at the very least impeached?

Contact your Senator and Representative and DEMAND that Congress stand up and state that Iran CAN NOT be invaded without Congressional approval.

FACT IS that Iran will not have a nuclear bomb in the foreseeable future. There is no immediate threat. There may not even be a threat in the next few decades. IF we leave Iran alone it will give the secular citizens more time to change their government....If we attack we will guarantee an Islamic dominated Iran for a very long time to come.

It's another corporate media scandal...spreading the Bush propaganda so that Bush and Cheney can invade Iran.... An invasion that holds no benefits for America or her citizens. It is madness and will only result in weakening American democracy, enrichening the corporations at the expense of American citizens. It's OUR pockets that are being robbed. Stand up and contact your elected officials and demand that they support the WEBB Amendment which only authorizes an invasion with Congressional approval. (Note: The ability of the President to act in Self Defense with Iran is not affected by this legislation)

Bush's vision of the American Way....

Bush's vision encompasses slave labor and no freedom for workers in Baghdad...it includes America at war with Iran enriching a few Cheney elitist types while stripping the freedom and civil liberties from American citizens.....meanwhile the elitist are going to cower behind their gated communities so they won't have to deal with the "average" American citizen....
